Trick-or-Treat Nature Trail at the ArBOOretum Family Festival
This year, you can have a hauntingly good time with everyone in the family at the Trick-or-Treat Nature Trail at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. The ArBOOretum Family Festival also has tons of other fun activities for adults and children of all ages, including pumpkin decorating, carnival rides, train rides, food trucks, a Halloween market, and a petting zoo!
Festivities take place on October 19 from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free for Arboretum members and children under the age of 3. Tickets for non-members are $20. Located at 4501 Woodway Drive, North of the Buffalo Bayou just off Interstate 610.
Daily Trick or Treating at the Children's Museum Houston
Not sure when you want to go trick-or-treating? Or do you want to go more than once? Don your costume and head to Children’s Museum Houston between October 12th and October 31st for some spooky fun and sweet treats.
Trick-or-Treating Hours:
- Tuesday to Friday from 3pm to 5 pm
- Thursdays from 3pm to 8 pm
- All-day Saturday and Sunday
Located at 1500 Binz St, across from Origin Bank and Lucille’s Southern Restaurant.
Trick or Treat 2024 at Woodchase Park
If you’re looking for a free trick-or-treating event in Houston, visit Woodchase Park on Friday, October 25th from 5pm to 8pm. Here you’ll find face painting, a balloon house, candy stations, Halloween photo ops, food trucks, games, and even a live DJ playing your favorite monster mashes! Be sure to bring your pup if you have one (in costume of course) and keep in mind that parking fills up fast. Additional parking is available at Sneed Elementary School or along Woodchase Dr.
Located at 3951 Woodchase Dr., just off the Westpark Tollway across from Sun Wing Supermarket and Perfumes Plus.
Trick or Drink Halloween Bar Crawl
If you’re over the age of 21, Trick or Drink offers a new twist on trick-or-treating for adults. Sip Halloween-themed cocktails in costume at top venues like Leon’s Lounge, Front Porch Pub, Pour Behavior, Dogwood, Solarium, and more.
There are three separate events:
- October 25th from 6 pm to 2 am (Registration is from 6 pm to 11 pm)
- October 26th from 4 pm to 2 am (Registration is from 4 pm to 10 pm
- October 31st from 6 pm to 2 am (Registration is from 6 pm to 11 pm)
