About the Houston Shakespeare Festival 2024

The Houston Shakespeare Festival celebrates its 50th year this summer with iconic performances including A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo and Juliet by UH School of Theatre & Dance and the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts.

Shows start each night at 8:15, but you can arrive by 7:45 for details on why Shakespeare is one of the greatest playwrights in world history. Admission is free.
